If I'm going to the extra mile for fuck sake's hit me back. Fucking talk to me. Don't let the conversation die.
I'm so sick of dating sites, people in general. : ForeverAlone
If you reply to a message on a dating site, then obviously I passed the initial test of "Oh well, he looks ok. I ask you how you're doing, ask some questions, you know, and you just stop. Or you give one worded answers. Just why the fuck can't I fucking talk to you? Am I not entertaining? Like holy shit you could mold me into whatever you want at this point I'm so lonely.
It's not my fucking fault I don't know what to talk about when you give me literally nothing to work with.

Every fucking time I open my mouth, I'll end up just being annoying so no I'm not going to endlessly try to save a conversation. Normally I wouldn't even be upset, except every conversation dies like this. I can't nail anyone down for a date. I just feel like I have so much more to offer. Nobody gives me a fucking chance. I might as well give the fuck up on ever being with anyone ever again.
I might as well focus on getting a really awesome paying job and then just hooking up with gold diggers, right? Because apparently personality counts for nothing, or shit, maybe I have no personality? I'm sorry, am I too depressed for you? Am I too goddamn "broken" for you? Well fuck you, how the fuck could I be anything else when every night I am alone in my room no matter what I try? I used to be really happy, actually. I used to be fucking high on life.
Then a girl crushed all that, bla bla bla, here I am.
Is my life over already now simply because I've got baggage? Fucking people are assholes. I am sorry, but from what I read they just answered out of politeness, they never were attracted to you.
If she doesn't put any effort into the conversation then she is not attracted to you and you have to let it die. And also, just because she answered your first message doesn't mean you passed the look test, maybe she just answered out of pity or politeness. If you follow these rules online dating can be a great way to meet someone, nowhere else you have such a big crows of potential partners to choose from.

But this big crows is also the weakness. Why settle for something less if a better partner is just a click away? The standards rise because people now have more options to compare you with. She already gets asked that hundreds of times a day, and you're just boring her by asking it yet again. Interesting and thought out messages don't stop after the first message for guys, you have to keep that shit up at least until you meet with her. Not that I've ever gotten a single reply on an actual dating site.
I honestly hate the bots above everything else, not because they're fake or trying to steal my identity, but because it gets my hopes up. That feeling of looking at my phone notification and seeing I matched with an attractive woman? That feeling of hope as I try to figure out the best way to open up conversation? The sensation of waiting for the response Then suddenly all that hope and high crashes back on you weighted with the knowledge that, oh, of course, the only woman who'd want to talk to you would be fake. To be honest i sort of miss the country but the problem is unless you have your own farm or buisness there then you're pretty much just going to have to live in your parents basement jobless.
This is the typical email I get from them: I found a few of them through Search anyways, and they were all bots that disappeared within 24h.

And honestly I suspect it's Badoo's own bots randomly liking men's profiles trying to rope you into a paid membership. I ranted about this exact thing to a friend when I first started getting into online dating. I also remember vowing to myself to at least be rich and powerful if I couldn't have love. Still working on that rich and powerful part though. And yeah, it sucks.
Why I'm giving up on online dating
Chat conversations fizzled quickly if they began at all. Conversations often ended as soon as I recommended meeting for a drink or coffee. Are dating apps actually helping people date, or is it just a way to casually scroll through images of strangers while wasting a couple hours of your day? Even as we evaluate each other electronically, having never met, the perception of rejection is powerfully felt. I think we reach dating fatigue because we reject, and are rejected, all too quickly before giving ourselves a chance to really know somebody.
Online dating is perceived as being efficient, easy, and fun. Key word, perceived, because online dating is actually hurting our offline dating lives. Amy Van Doran, a match-maker and creator of Modern Love club , put it another way. I am rarely happy behind a screen, and the way to attract your best match is to be in a place where you are your highest self. But why do we get dating app fatigue and not regular dating fatigue? Imagine living in a small town without as many dating prospects.
The fear of missing out. Online dating is pushing a giant boulder up a hill, only to watch it roll back down again. THAT is why you are tired of online dating.
