Whatever it is,
God can hold it.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." — Philippians 4:6 (NIV)

What Prayer Actually Does

Prayer is not a ritual you have to get right. It's the most direct thing a person can do: talking honestly with the God who made you, about the life you're actually living. No script, no special vocabulary, no minimum faith requirement. Just you, coming honest.

And Scripture says it does something. Not might. Does. "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective" (James 5:16, NIV). Prayer moves things. It steadies people in hospital rooms and courtrooms and kitchens at midnight. It has carried this church for twenty years, and we've watched it work too many times to be shy about saying so.

Don't know what to say? God covered that too. "We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans" (Romans 8:26, NIV). When all you have is the ache, the ache is enough. The Spirit translates.

And here's why we ask you to send your request instead of carrying it quietly: prayer gets stronger in company. "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them" (Matthew 18:20, NIV). When you share a request, you're not dropping words in a box. You're inviting a praying church to stand with you, and inviting God into the middle of it. That's the power. That's why we pray.

Just Talk: A Simple Guide to Prayer

Prayer isn't a performance. It's a conversation. No robe, no stage, no fancy words. Just you, being honest, with a God who's been waiting on you. How to start, what to say when life is heavy, what to do when heaven seems quiet, plus prayers you can borrow and a 7-day starter. If you've ever typed "how to pray" into a search bar at 2 AM, this book is for you.

Start Your Morning in Prayer

Every Monday through Saturday at 7 AM, Rev. Tony Lee goes live on Facebook and prays with whoever pulls up. Some mornings it's before the workday, some mornings it's from the car line, some mornings it's somebody who couldn't sleep and needed a word. Thousands start their day this way, together. No signup, no dress code, no camera required. Just show up, bring what you're carrying, and let somebody pray with you before the day gets loud.

Prayer Request Form

Some things are too heavy to carry alone. You were never supposed to. Whatever you're facing tonight, the diagnosis, the bills, the marriage, the child you're worried about, the thing you can't say out loud yet, you can lay it down here.
Every request is read by a real person and prayed over by name. Not filed. Not skimmed. Prayed over. And if you want more than prayer, if you need a call, a conversation, or a next step, just say so and someone will reach out.

Share as much or as little as you want. Every word is held in confidence, and every request is prayed over.
