I am asking for prayer for myself and my family member. My cousin was on vacation in Puerto Rico, with her children and her oldest child was shot and killed. He was only 17 years old, on his way to his senior year of high school. This is a nightmare no parent should ever have to live, so I'm asking if she can be kept in prayer as she is in the process of grieving the loss of her first born child.

I'm also desperately asking for prayer for myself as I am 7-months post-partum and having severe depression. Sometimes I feel like I cannot go on another day, but my children are my sanity. I'm currently about to enter a custody battle with a parent who didn't want to be present for my child and recently came around only to avoid court. It is really taking a heavy toll on me. I would like God to protect my baby and not allow him to be taken from me. I'm asking God to help heal me from all the hurt in my life and help me find a peace of mind. Also, for God to continue to be a way maker, as I have to pay for expensive lawyer fees and I'm a single mother.
